There are many babies in Uganda that are vulnerable or orphaned due to poverty, lack of education, and the HIV/AIDS crisis. Baby Watoto, a key component in the Watoto Model, was initiated to provide care for these precious little ones. Through loving care and proper nourishment, a majority of the babies recover and become healthy, happy, and whole. Once they reach an appropriate age, the babies graduate to a Watoto Village or they are reunited with relatives.
