The Blues

The Blues
by Aarti Uppal Singla

About the Print:

The indigo color and the varied patterns caught my eye. Tie & Dye is done traditionally by the Tribes of Gujarat, India. They use organic dyes and until now used traditional motifs. With a growing demand for their handiwork the tribals have started to innovate in terms of patterns and adding other elements like embroidery.

By Aarti Uppal Singla. An archival pigment print.
