I was out in the city with some friends taking photos when I saw an unoccupied industrial yard. There were large cement barricades stacked up on top of one another next to the enclosing fence. I saw a stack of orange pipes at the top and climbed up the fence to get to them. Laying sideways on the cement with my feet dangling in the air I captured the beautiful contrast of the blue sky against the vibrant orange pipes.
I called it nest because seeing the pipes from this perspective made me think that there is more to see, more to know, the same perspective when viewing a birds nest from below.
