this piece was inspired by a random scene in the film A Single Man (hence it's title) where a boy captures and releases a butterfly, and it somehow managed to totally encapsulate the themes of the movie as well as be a more general reflection on loving something and letting it go. i'd like to think that the butterfly is being freed rather than caught...

We enable artists and photographers to sell their work online. Occasionally (every 1-3 weeks) we'll feature a new print on Wallblank. We offer custom collections and we do printing and fulfillment for selling elsewhere.

Prints are carefully printed one at a time and hand-packed (either flat or rolled, depending on size) then shipped via USPS from Rockford, IL.
Shipping is a flat $6 to US/Canada, $12 to the rest of the world.
