About the Print:

I had become unbearable to myself. I had to go. I just couldn’t stay where I was any longer. It would appear that we are assigned roles, (or assign ourselves roles) by our friends and family, which in some respect gives us a sense of pride and purpose and a sense of self (or self-importance in some cases). But then if we are tempted to step outside of that role or change it in some way, we are met with fierce blocks from the very same well-wishing friends and family. I needed to break myself down. And piece myself back together. I needed to change who I was, or I would continue to get dizzier and dizzier from the same song and dance of chasing my tail. Or I would die of boredom. Either way, I had to go. The bud had become too tight (thank you anais nin) and I was bursting at the seams it seemed. So up and out I went.
