Lydia and Richard lost their parents to HIV/AIDS at a very young age. A kind stranger took them in, but he could not provide the medical care that Lydia needed for the parasites that were causing her fingers and toes to be eaten alive. She had the appearance of being crippled. Lydia and Richard now live in a beautiful Watoto Village where they have a loving mother and six new siblings. Lydia is healthy and whole now. She loves to laugh! Life has brought them on a difficult journey, but the Lord has brought them to Watoto – a place to call home.
