Cloudery
Cloudery draws in pen & ink. Each drawing, using pens with points ranging from .2mm to .5mm, takes hours to create. There’s no prior sketching, and neither pencil nor eraser are involved. Unplanned, each grows where the pens take it. In October 2008 Cloudery established a shop selling original artwork not only as an outlet for her creativity, but perhaps more importantly as a way to support the charity First Book. With every drawing sold, she donates funds that purchase at least two books for children from low-income families, providing them the opportunity to read and own their first new books.
