Aarti Uppal Singla
Namaste, I am Aarti Uppal Singla from India. My tryst with photography began with an Agfa Click IV which I got as a child. All through school I dabbled in painting and photography as a hobby. By a twist of fate ended up doing my bachelors degree in Graphic Arts from Government College of Art in Chandigarh. Now I design books and magazines to make a living and do photography to indulge my creative senses.
I take pictures of nearly everything. Sometimes they are planned but most often it is something that catches my eye and I want to keep the memory with me. I like to travel and try to capture the local flavor in my photos. Some pictures tell the story of the moment while others are timeless. The constant stimuli of the sights, smells and sounds of my country keep me fascinated and keep my camera clicking!
